About Merge PDF
Merge PDF joins several PDF files into a single document. It is the quickest way to send one attachment instead of five, to assemble a job application from a CV, cover letter and certificates, or to keep a month of invoices together in one file.
Add the files, arrange them in the order you want and press Merge PDF. Pages are copied exactly as they are, so text stays searchable, links on the page keep working and scanned pages keep their full resolution. The whole job happens inside your browser, which also makes it fast: nothing is uploaded and there is no queue.
Features
- Merge up to 50 PDFs in one go
- Drag-and-drop ordering with keyboard and touch-friendly arrow buttons
- First-page preview and page count for every file
- Lossless: pages are copied, not re-rendered
- Works offline once the page has loaded
Why use it
- Send a single, tidy attachment instead of many files
- No account, watermark or daily limit
- Private by design, because files stay on your device
How it works
Each page of each file is copied, in the order shown in the file list, into a new PDF with pdf-lib. Page content is copied as is, so text stays selectable and images keep their quality.
Examples
Job application
Input: cv.pdf (2 pages), cover-letter.pdf (1 page), certificates.pdf (4 pages)
Result: merged.pdf with 7 pages in that order.
Monthly invoices
Input: 12 single-page invoices sorted by date
Result: One 12-page PDF ready to send to your accountant.
Merge PDF: frequently asked questions
Does merging reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied into the new file without re-rendering, so text and images look exactly as in the originals.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Not directly. Remove the password with Unlock PDF first (you need to know it), then merge.
What happens to bookmarks and form fields?
Page content and annotations are kept. Bookmarks (the outline) and interactive form fields of the source files are not carried into the merged file.
