About PDF to JPG
PDF to JPG saves PDF pages as images. Use it to post a page on social media, insert a document into a presentation, send a certificate on WhatsApp or upload a scan to a form that only accepts images.
Choose JPG for small files or PNG for pixel-perfect output, pick a resolution and, if you like, a set of pages. Each page is rendered with PDF.js, the same engine that powers Firefox’s PDF viewer, so the images look just like the PDF.
Features
- JPG or PNG output
- 72, 150 or 300 DPI
- Convert all pages or a selection
- ZIP download for multi-page results
Why use it
- Share documents where PDFs are not accepted
- Print-quality images at 300 DPI
- Private, local processing
How it works
PDF.js renders each selected page onto a canvas at the chosen resolution, the canvas is encoded as JPG or PNG, and several images are packed into a ZIP archive.
Examples
Certificate for WhatsApp
Input: 1-page PDF, JPG, 150 DPI
Result: certificate-1.jpg, about 1240 × 1754 pixels for A4.
Slides
Input: 12-page PDF, PNG, 72 DPI, pages 1-3
Result: A ZIP with three PNG images.
PDF to JPG: frequently asked questions
JPG or PNG?
JPG gives much smaller files and suits photos and scans. PNG is lossless and best for diagrams and text when file size matters less.
Can I extract the original images inside a PDF?
This tool renders whole pages. It does not pull out individual embedded pictures.
Why is 300 DPI slow on my phone?
High resolution means many more pixels to draw. Choose 150 DPI on phones unless you need print quality.
